The Keating Group, a four-person finance team that manages about $700 million, has joined UBS Wealth Management USA in Hartford.
Financial advisors Maureen Keating, Michael DeCorleto and Matthew Marques, along with wealth management associate Matthew Mardirosian, are now under UBS’ umbrella.
They will operate out of UBS’ Hartford office at One State Street.
The Keating Group was previously part of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
The four Keating Group team members manage approximately $700 million in client assets for high-net-worth individuals and families, according to an announcement.
The Keating Group’s roots go back some six decades, when Maureen Keating’s father, the late Ed Keating, started working as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Maureen Keating started her career in the financial services industry in 1990 when she joined her father at Merrill Lynch, according to her online biography. Marques joined the Keating Group in 2006, DeCorleto in 2002, and Mardirosian in 2013.
UBS, which is headquartered in Switzerland, reports that as of the second quarter of 2023, it had about $5.5 trillion under management worldwide.
The Keating Group is among several teams from Merrill that have joined UBS in recent months. In one of the most recent moves, in early November, UBS Wealth Management USA announced The Hartigan Schehl Group in New Hampshire had joined the firm.
