The University of Connecticut’s business management program is the top program in Connecticut, according to a listing of top schools in each U.S. state, the online outlet Business-Management-Degree.net announced.
All of the schools that made the list are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the Nashville, Tenn.-based online resource states in its announcement. Most have undergraduate programs but some have graduate programs.
UConn’s business management program stands out in terms of the degree of thoroughness and complexity of its curriculum, available opportunities and resources, and the capacity to provide students with “more than just classroom experience,” the online outlet stated.
Other New England schools that made the list include Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.; the University of Maine – Orono in Maine; Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass.; the University of New Hampshire – Durham; and the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
"When applying to business school, students would be hard-pressed to find more world-class institutions,” said lead researcher and writer, Rowan Jones. “These business programs give students life-changing opportunities that initiate fabulous careers in all areas of the discipline."
