The Connecticut Forum’s season finale will feature two alumnae of the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team, along with Head Coach Geno Auriemma in a panel discussion entitled, “Husky Nation! Teamwork, Leadership, and Life Off the Court.”
The live, unscripted conversation at The Bushnell in Hartford will focus on the history of UConn’s basketball program, as well as the lives and careers of the panelists. The forum is set for 7:30 p.m. May 4.
Auriemma will be joined by Sue Bird, the WNBA’s all-time leader in assists, and Morgan Tuck, four-time National Champion with UConn (2012-16).
“We are thrilled to celebrate the UConn Women’s Basketball program at our season finale,” said Ruth Cullen, executive director of The Connecticut Forum. “For years, this team has brought an abundance of pride and excitement to our state, and we can’t wait to welcome these three panelists to The CT Forum stage.”
Bird has won five Olympic Gold Medals, two NCAA Championships and four WNBA Championships. She is an analyst with ESPN and an NBA executive.
Tuck is the assistant general manager and director of franchise development for the Connecticut Sun. She was the third overall pick in the 2016 WNBA draft and won the 2020 WNBA Championship with the Seattle Storm.
Auriemma, with his 34 years as UConn’s head coach, has won 11 national titles, appeared in 19 Final Fours and recorded six undefeated seasons.
ESPN’s Kimberley Martin, host of “Husky Nation!,” will moderate the discussion.
Tickets range from $25 to $110 and can be purchased at ctforum.org. For more information, contact Paula Wilson at pwilson@ctforum.org or 860-509-0909.
