United Bank, which merged with Rockville Bank in April and moved its headquarters to Glastonbury, said it will open a third full-service branch in that community early next year.
The 2,200-square-foot branch will be at the corner of Main Street and New London Turnpike.
The branch will be the bank’s third in Glastonbury, in addition to its headquarters. The others are located at the Shops at Addison Village and at 902 Main St.
The bank also announced that it will open a branch in September inside ShopRite on Main Street in East Hartford. It will be United’s third supermarket branch, and its first branch in East Hartford.
