A New York apparel company says it will open its first brick-and-mortar store in Connecticut on Monday in Farmington’s Westfarms Mall.
UNTUCKit, which specializes in making button-down shirts designed to be worn untucked, says it occupies a 1,627-square-foot space in the upper level of the mall near J.C. Penney.
The retailer will offer 13 categories of casual wear for men and women, including shirts, pants, jackets and shorts, among other items.
Chris Riccobono, founder of UNTUCKit, said his company is launching a store in the Westfarms mall because it has already built a large customer base in the Greater Hartford region through online sales.
Founded in 2011, the retailer has more than 60 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
