UTC Aerospace nets Navy contract

United Technologies subsidiary UTC Aerospace Systems said the U.S. Naval Undersea Warfare Center has awarded it a contract to provide acoustic windows for submarines.

The five-year contract covers an indefinite quantity of the windows, which house sonar trandsducer arrays on submarines.

UTC will perform the work in Florida.
