TeraDAR, Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of sensor technology, has relocated some operations to a new facility in Guilford.
The company has signed a 10-year lease for 21,800 square feet of office and assembly space at 1 Shoreline Drive, Guilford, moving its operations from a space in Clinton.
The industrial building in Guilford will be used for the assembly and testing of specialty items for motor vehicle safety, and also product research and development, according to Kevin Geenty of the Branford-based Geenty Group. He was the broker for the tenant as well as the landlord, Russo Real Estate, LLC.
TeraDAR, which started in 2020 and is headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., specializes in radar sensors for cameras, spectroscopy, vehicles and self-driving cars, aircraft, automotive applications, security and motion detection.
The building contains 72,000 square feet of space and is home to multiple tenants.
