The Vera Bradley store at Westfarms mall permanently closed over the weekend, leaving just two stores in Connecticut.
Last year, the Fort Wayne, Indiana-based luggage and handbag company shuttered 12 retail stores, according to its third-quarter earnings report. It also opened five factory outlets.
The remaining Vera Bradley stores are at the Danbury Fair Mall and Clinton Crossing.
Also, the Things Remembered retail store at Westfarms has closed. Things Remembered, which sells personalized gifts and jewelry, announced on Dec. 28, 2022, that it would close all retail locations.
Things Remembered was acquired by 1-800-Flowers.com earlier this month.
We-Ha.com was the first news outlet to report the closures Monday.
