W. Hartford mortgage lender opens 8th location

West Hartford’s First World Mortgage Corp. announced Thursday it opened its eighth location in Connecticut.

The mortgage lender, based at 127 Prospect Ave., said it recently began operating a branch at 1044 Main St. in Watertown. Jesus Carrero, a senior loan consultant, will serve at the site’s branch manager.

First World has now opened three locations in 2018, including sites in Glastonbury and Avon.

Founded at its West Hartford location in 1992, President Frank Sidoti said the company is positioned to continue growing throughout this year and into 2019.
