Watch party for Yard Goats’ first playoff game to be held on Pratt Street

Fans can watch The Hartford Yard Goats’ first 2024 playoff game on Pratt Street in downtown Hartford, where the team along with the Hartford Chamber of Commerce will host a watch party.

The Yard Goats’ opponent in the game, on Sept. 17, has yet to be determined. The party kicks off at 5 p.m., with the game playing live at 6 p.m. on a large screen.

There will be raffles, face painting, and photos with team mascots Chompers and Chew Chew, along with giveaways, food and drink specials from vendors and a disc jockey.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Yard Goats are ranked third in the Eastern League - Northeast with a record of 35-27.

The Yard Goats return home to Dunkin’ Park for their first-ever playoff game at home on Sept. 19 at 7:10 p.m. A potential third game could take place on Sept. 20.
