Webster Bank has done a $35.6 million refinancing of a Brookfield shopping plaza that will house Connecticut's first Chick-Fil-A fast-food restaurant.

The 131,324-square-foot BJ's Plaza at 106 Federal Road, in addition to its anchor BJ's Wholesale Club, also consists of three freestanding pad sites. Bank of America and Savings Bank of Danbury each occupy one.

The third will accommodate the Chick-Fil-A restaurant that is set to open next summer.

CBRE/New England Debt arranged financing on behalf of landlord Samuels & Associates and Weiner Ventures.

Plainville package store

Cheers Wines & Spirits has opened in the remaining 1,200 square feet of a Plainville mini-shopping plaza owned by a Hartford family of bakers.

The unnamed plaza at 125 New Britain Ave. (Route 72), at the corner of Grant Avenue, houses a second Mozzicato-DePasquale Bakery & Pastry Shop, Farmington Bank and Salon Eleganza. The original bakery is on Franklin Avenue, in Hartford's South End.

Rino Mozzicato developed the 7,500-square-foot Plainville retail center for about $2 million three years ago and also owns the package store that carries a wide selection of wines, spirits and specialty craft brews.

The Mozzicato family is underway with conversion of a former Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on North Colony Road in Wallingford for their third bakery-café.

Pick & Mix in Avon

West Hartford restaurant Pick & Mix is opening a Korean meal take-out in Avon Village Marketplace.

Owner Won Joo signed a five-year lease for 890 square feet at 41 East Main St., in the former Good-To-Go space.

Landlord Avon Village Associates bought the former Old Avon Village property earlier this year from the August family, and has been updating the site and expanding its tenant base, realty authorities say.

RM Bradley represented both tenant and landlord in the lease.

Hog dealer’s N. London home

A former New London Coca-Cola bottling plant-distributorship is about to house a Groton Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership.

The 52,000-square-foot building on 5.1 acres at 951 Bank St. sold recently for $550,000, brokers say.

Responsible Landholdings Northeast LLC bought the property from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Northeastern New England Inc.

Following a full renovation, the new owner will lease the site to Mike's Famous Harley-Davidson, said seller's agent The Geenty Group Realtors.

The Harley dealer's sales-service operation is currently housed at 1416 Gold Star Highway, in Groton.

Mike's also sells and services Can-Am motor tricycles, Sea-Doo watercraft and Polaris off-road vehicles.

Best Brokers was the buyer's agent.

KeeClean inks Milford lease

KeeClean Management Inc. leased an 800-square-foot industrial condo at 185 Research Drive in Milford.

Keith Jang is the cleaning company's principal.

The landlord is D'Amato Investments LLC.
