Webster renames equipment-lending unit
Waterbury-based Webster Bank said it renamed its equipment-finance unit Webster Capital Finance Inc. to better identify the unit with its business portfolio.
Center Capital Corp., based at 3 Farm Glen Blvd. in Farmington, started in 1987 and has been part of Webster since March 2001.
It has $822 million in assets and provides equipment financing for manufacturing, environmental, construction and transportation companies.
