The West Hartford African American Social & Cultural Organization (WHAASCO) will hold its second annual West Hartford Black Business Expo on Saturday.
The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the West Hartford Conference Center in Town Hall, at 50 South Main St.
This year’s event features the theme "Empowering Through Diversity." The expo celebrates the achievements of Black-owned businesses in West Hartford.
It will feature a variety of businesses offering products and services for purchase, complemented by music provided by B Davis of 89.9 WQTQ FM.
In addition to the town of West Hartford, financial supporters of the event include the Hartford Yard Goats, NBT Bank, West Hartford Rotary Club and Westfield Bank.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Town Hall lot.
