Westport attorney buys two-story office building for $1.38M

A two-story office building on Westport’s Riverside Avenue has sold for $1.38 million.
Mark Chioffi, of Easton, doing business as Riverside Avenue Properties LLC, confirmed buying the condo-office property, at 222 Riverside Ave., from Louise McGlynn, of Westport, doing business as 222 Riverside Avenue LLC.
Chioffi declined to comment on the purchase.
Chioffi and McGlynn own law practices that occupy space in the building, which was built in 2006, according to property records.
The building was appraised at $1.04 million and assessed at $727,400 in 2020, property records show.
It sits on a 6.534-square-foot parcel and has two parking spaces.
