A Wethersfield bank branch property anchored by Santander Bank has sold for $2.5 million, town records show.
The 10,382-square-foot property at 1221 Silas Deane Highway sold earlier this month.
The buyer was Ridel Properties LLC, which is controlled by DeLuca Properties & Del Realty of Weymouth, Mass.
The seller was 730 W. 183rd Street LLC, which is controlled by Sergio Rothstein of New York City.
The property last sold in 2014 for $3.1 million, town records show.
It sits on 1.39 acres and was built in 1979.
Santander Bank occupies the entire property. The bank recently announced it intends to shutter four of its 21 Connecticut branches, including three in Greater Hartford, a decision related to the growth of online banking, it said.
