Two wooded parcels near Bishop’s Corner in West Hartford have been listed for sale as an opportunity for multifamily development.
The abutting properties, at 2376 Albany Ave. and 10 King Philip Drive, total 0.59 acres and are being offered for $450,000 by Hartford-based Chozick Realty Inc.
The site is less than a mile from the former University of Connecticut branch campus, which is being converted into a mixed-use development.
The properties do not contain any wetlands and are zoned for single-family housing; however, adjacent properties contain multifamily developments, religious facilities and retail uses.
The Somerset, a condominium complex developed by the Simon Konover Co. about 13 years ago, is across the street.
The section of Albany Avenue averages about 22,000 vehicles per day and has nearly 220,000 people living within a 5-mile radius, according to the listing.
The properties have been owned by the same family for about 75 years. Chozick Realty began marketing them for sale this week.
According to town assessment records, the properties are co-owned by the estate of Aliza Adler and Dahlia Manaker.
