An 11.8-acre property at 28 Woodmont Rd. in Milford with two manufacturing buildings has sold for $14.5 million.
Samuel S. Bergami, principal of Alinabal LLC, and CEO of Alinabal Inc., said the property sale comes as he is retiring from the broad-based manufacturing company that he started 56 years ago.
The business sold separately with a price that is “substantially more,” Bergami said.
David M. Robshaw, principal of Texas-based buyer NL Ventures LLC., could not be reached for comment on the deal. Details of the business sale were not available.
According to city records on the 28 Woodmont property, a one-story building at 129,900 square feet was built in 1967 and is appraised at $6.6 million. The property also contains a 4,900-square-foot building, which was completed in 1978 and appraised at roughly $638,000.
Other principals of Alinabal include Steven Bennett of Fairfield, Paul Kelly of Milford and Brian Wood of Stratford.
According to the company website, Alinabal is “a leading manufacturer of a diverse span of products from precision stampings and assemblies, spherical rod end bearing and linkage assemblies, as well as special purpose printers, aircraft instrumentation and advanced laser shutters.”
Alinabal has roughly 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in four facilities, and employs about 400 people, according to the company’s website.
