Yard Goats launch website
The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball club launched a new website on Thursday as the minor league team prepares for its first season next year.
Yardgoatsbaseball.com will include construction photos of the new Dunkin’ Donuts Park in the Downtown North neighborhood, the team’s 2016 schedule, ticket and promotion information, and the season’s news. The site also has merchandise for sale.
The Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies played its last game in New Britain in September, where it was known as the New Britain Rock Cats.
The first game of the Yard Goats season will be April 7 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
