Last week, two airlines announced that they're adding new routes at Bradley International Airport.

Avelo Airlines will establish a regional base at Bradley, adding seven new nonstop routes from Connecticut to locations including Cancún, Mexico; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Houston, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Wilmington, North Carolina; Daytona Beach, Florida; and Orlando/Lakeland, Florida.

Meantime, JetBlue will add 35 weekly flights from Bradley to five destinations in Florida: Orlando, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.
