Clear Automotive Group

The Clear Automotive Group was officially formed in 2021, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication to uniting two long-standing dealership groups in the Manchester area.

Our story began in 2016 when the Larabee Family, owners and operators of Manchester Honda and Manchester Powersports, acquired Carter Chevrolet, a dealership proudly run by the Carter Family since 1936. The Larabees relocated the Chevrolet dealership to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility on Route 83 in Vernon in 2017, rebranding it as Vernon Chevrolet in 2021.

That same year, the Larabee Family breathed new life into the former Buick dealership location at 81 Adams Street in Manchester, to relocate the Carter Body Shop team. The state-of-the art facility was rebranded as The Collision Shop and continues to provide exceptional auto body repair services.

In 2019, the Larabee Family expanded again, acquiring Manchester Mazda from the Carter Family. A major renovation and expansion of the dealership followed, resulting in a beautifully upgraded facility by 2020.

The Clear Automotive Group introduced the Clear Advantage in 2021, a commitment to delivering an unmatched customer experience. In 2023, we pioneered the “One Person, One Process, One Promise” approach, emphasizing simplicity, transparency and personalized service.

This October, the Larabee Family proudly celebrated 60 years of serving the Manchester community. Locally owned and operated, the Clear Automotive Group represents Manchester Honda, Manchester Powersports, Vernon Chevrolet, Manchester Mazda and The Collision Shop.

Today, we are a team of over 150 dedicated employees, many of whom have been with us for decades. Together, we take immense pride in serving our customers and continuing the legacy of excellence that the Larabee Family has built.
