When Hartford-area business owners and property managers need reliable commercial roofing help, their first call is to Tecta America New England.
The company began as Delta Roofing in 1988 and promptly established itself as the Northeast’s leading commercial roofing company. Tecta America, the largest commercial roofing company in the country, took notice of Delta’s success and acquired the company in 2007.
Tecta America New England began serving Hartford- and Springfield-area customers in 2006 from its Cherry Street location in East Hartford. After providing high-quality roofing services for nearly two decades, the team has outgrown their current office space. As of June 1, they will relocate to 400 Woodland Ave. in Bloomfield. The move to this expanded office and warehouse space is a significant milestone that will accommodate the company’s growing team, allowing them to serve customers more efficiently.
“The move will give us a more modern, state of-the-art facility where we can offer expanded roofing and in-house sheet metal services, with the ability to fabricate anything from standing seam metal roofing to historically accurate copper pieces,” company President John Donovan said.
To celebrate the team’s successful transition to their new location, Operations Manager Rich MacTaggart is planning a grand opening event in the fall. “This event will not only showcase our new building and facilities but also give us the opportunity to connect with our customers and partners in the community. We’re excited to share this special occasion with our team, our customers and anyone who needs a roofing company that they can depend on, day or night,” MacTaggart said.
Tecta America New England’s roofing industry expertise includes industrial, warehousing, commercial offices, tenant fit-ups, shopping malls, biotech, healthcare, educational institutions, and state, local and federal government buildings. In addition to new construction roofing installations and reroofing projects, the company is one of the region’s largest service businesses; it offers 24/7/365 emergency response, preventative maintenance, roof asset management and infrared scans performed by certified thermographers.
Because Tecta America is approved by every major roofing product manufacturer, Tecta America New England’s Bloomfield team stands behind their work because the manufacturers stand behind them. Along with their reputation for excellence comes a long list of loyal, satisfied customers.
“Our customers and our skilled, hard-working employees are among the company’s most valuable assets,” MacTaggart said. The company is proud to have several employees who have been on the team for more than three decades, as well as many clients who have used their commercial roofing services for several decades.
In addition to the new Bloomfield location, Tecta America New England has a home office in North Billerica, Massachusetts, and offices in Brockton, Massachusetts, and Portland, Maine. The company’s roofing teams have the skills, experience and manpower to meet customers’ commercial and industrial roofing needs anywhere in the region. A sister company, Tecta America WeatherGuard in Schenectady, New York, provides facility managers and property owners in eastern New York with the same top-level service and attention to detail as each of Tecta America’s 90-plus locations across the country.
